Depuis le 1er juillet 2014, un salari\u00e9 doit travailler entre 24 et 34h30 par semaine (ou un \u00e9quivalent mensuel) pour \u00eatre consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme \u00e0 temps partiel.<\/p>\n<p>Un contrat de travail peut \u00eatre conclu avec une dur\u00e9e de travail inf\u00e9rieure dans trois cas&nbsp;:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"classic-list row\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li class=\"row baseline--default\">Si le contrat de travail est un contrat de travail \u00e0 dur\u00e9e d\u00e9termin\u00e9e de moins de 7 jours&nbsp;;<\/li>\n<li class=\"row baseline--default\">Si le salari\u00e9 en fait la demande, soit pour convenances personnelles, soit parce qu\u2019il cumule deux contrats de travail, lesquels lui permettent d\u2019atteindre le minimum de 24 heures hebdomadaires&nbsp;; ou<\/li>\n<li class=\"row baseline--default\">Si le contrat de travail \u00e0 dur\u00e9e d\u00e9termin\u00e9e est un CDD de remplacement d\u2019un salari\u00e9.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span id=\"La_protection_du_salarie_a_temps_partiel\">La protection du salari\u00e9 \u00e0 temps partiel<\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=\"row baseline--default\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">La loi interdit aux employeurs de discriminer un travailleur sous pr\u00e9texte qu\u2019il n\u2019est qu\u2019\u00e0 temps partiel. Le fait qu\u2019il soit le premier licenci\u00e9 lors d\u2019un plan de licenciement \u00e9conomique, ou qu\u2019il ne b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie pas de prime pour la seule raison qu\u2019il est \u00e0 temps partiel est une discrimination qui ouvre droit \u00e0 r\u00e9paration pour le salari\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Il en est de m\u00eame pour les salari\u00e9es, qui sont davantage soumises au temps partiel que leurs coll\u00e8gues masculins.
